Little Black Dress Party Invitation

Little Black Dress Party Invitation

You’ve spent lots of time and effort picking out and mailing the perfect invitations for your incredibly awesome event.  You breath a sign of relief and mentally go over all the details. You know people are slow to rsvp, if at all, so a few days after mailing the invitations, you decide to speed things along and send out a tweet or post to your Facebook account.

You carefully craft a message and post:  “I just sent out invitations to my fabulous party and you don’t want to miss it! Please RSVP ASAP”.

Mission accomplished.  Your guests will RSVP, your head count will be accurate, your budget on track and all’s well with the world, until…

O-H N-O!@!? You realize there are people on your Twitter or Facebook accounts that just got your post and they were NOT invited to your party!!!

What do you do?

Chime in and tell us what you’d do. What you wouldn’t do. What you’d do when the non-invited respond to your posts, “What party?”

Kids Halloween Birthday Party Invitations & Ideas

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

If you or your child is lucky enough to have a birthday around Halloween, you have another theme to choose from when planning a birthday party.

Dance in the Moonlight Halloween Invitations

Dance in the Moonlight Halloween Invitations

Kids love to dress up in their Halloween costumes and getting to wear them more than once is a real treat.

Choose your favorite Halloween invitation and be sure to send it with enough time so guests can plan to attend.

You can make your home a Haunted House for Halloween and serve creepy foods and drinks. You might also want to have some food that kids recognize and will actually eat if your party is around the lunch or dinner hour.

If the birthday party is actually on Halloween, you can plan to have some parents stay and trick or treat your neighborhood as a group before the party starts.

Goodie bags with spiders and Halloween trinkets, and even more candy, will delight guests.

Be sure to be prepared to take lots of photos and video the event so you can enjoy the replay without the chaos.

How do you clean dusty candles before a party?

Holiday Candles and Cones Invitations

Holiday Candles and Cones Invitations

I have lots of candles I use for decoration and I never intend to light them. I’ve noticed that they get dusty and dull looking.  How do I clean them? Here’s a few ideas:

  • Rub them with pantyhose.
  • If the candle has designs, use a cotton swab soaked in water to clean the grooves.
  • Use a lightly damp cloth to wipe the candle clean.
  • DO NOT use cleaning products as most are highly flammable and can soak into the wick.

What type of candles should you burn? According to Care2.com, beeswax.

“Beeswax candle fuel is the only fuel that actually produces negative ions, which not only helps remove pollution from the air but increases the ratio of negative ions to positive ions, the ideal and necessary scenario for clean air.” In laywoman’s terms, this means they cause charged gunk (dust, pollen, odors, toxins, etc.) to fall from the air onto the floor via static electricity.”

As we come into the holiday season, be sure to safely burn all candles.

Dinner Party Invitations set the Tone from Announcingit

Monday, August 30th, 2010

How do you get guests to come to your dinner party? First, send a great printed invitation. Custom printed invitations let guests know that you really are having a party and you are serious about having them attend.  An off-hand remark when you saw them at the grocery store or a casual email invite just doesn’t have the same impact as an invitation received in the mail.

Use your dinner party invitation to the tone for the party. It lets guests know if they are attending a casual barbeque outdoors, a themed party or a formal sit down affair.  Here are just a few of our favorite new invites.

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

How to Photograph your Baby: Sleeping BabyHow do you get a great photograph of your baby for your holiday photo card, birth announcement or for a timeless keepsake? They don’t sit up, it’s not easy to pose them and they have short attention spans.

Here are 10 easy tips to help get the perfect picture:

1.  Make sure your baby is happy, well-fed and well-rested, or plan to shoot them while their napping.

2.  Plan to take photos for a least 30 minutes.

3.  Have some one help you entertain your baby while you concentrate on taking the photos.

4.  Use a simple, plain background and lay or sit baby on a white sheet, a white duvet cover or a plain blanket. Make sure there is no clutter in the background to detract from your baby.

Stars and Gift Boxes Birthday Invitation

Stars and Gift Boxes Birthday Invitation

You’ve decided to have a party, but what do you have printed on the invitations?

Use this checklist to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything when creating your party invitations:

Purpose of the invitation:  A birthday party, a wedding, a holiday open house.

– Name of honoree:  The birthday person, the mother-to-be, the bride and groom

– Day and Date of the Party:  Saturday, August 29th or if it is formal, Saturday, the twenty-ninth of August. Be sure to double check that your date is really on the day of the week you think (the 29th of August is really a Saturday.) If a formal event, include the year and spell it out (two thousand and sixteen)

About Us

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

We design our own line of invitations as well as offering some of the best designs from leading printing companies.  We print your invitations ourselves, in-house. You’re not ordering from a book and we aren’t forwarding your order to another printer to process and print.

We process and ship your order usually within 3-5 business days of its receipt.  We know there are companies that print and ship quicker, but we take the time to typeset each order one at a time by our expert typesetting “people”, we are not a “computer generated” invitation printer.  We have found that taking the extra time to have you view a FREE typeset on-line before your order prints and ships makes everyone happy and every order perfect!

Our customer service representatives are available to help you with any questions you may have by email or phone.  We’re glad you found us and we look forward to working with you!
